An AV rack is a standardized equipment cabinet (typically 19 inches wide) that houses AV system components including video switchers, audio processors, amplifiers, and control systems. AV racks may be located in dedicated equipment rooms, closets, or furniture credenzas within meeting spaces. Proper rack design addresses cable management, ventilation, and accessibility for maintenance.
