HyFlex Classroom
A teaching model allowing students to choose in-person, synchronous online, or asynchronous participation.
Full Definition
HyFlex (Hybrid-Flexible) is an instructional approach where students can choose how they participate in each class session: attending in person, joining synchronously online, or watching recordings asynchronously. HyFlex classrooms require sophisticated AV technology to deliver equitable learning experiences across all modalities, including multi-camera capture, quality audio for remote students, and lecture recording for asynchronous viewing.
How AV Engine Uses This
AV Engine enables faculty to manage HyFlex classroom complexity with simple voice commands like "start HyFlex class."
